Dr. Paul Binon is a highly experienced dentist with a specialty in implants. He trained at Creighton University, Indiana University, and even under the guidance of Dr. P I Branemark, a pioneer in dental implants. With over 30 years in the field, Dr. Binon has helped countless patients, achieving over 90% success rates in his treatments.
He’s also a respected author, contributing to around 50 publications in dental research. Dr. Binon is recognized internationally for his expertise in implant dentistry and biomechanics. He holds positions at UCSF School of Dentistry and Indiana University.
Dr. Binon is a member of several top dental associations, including the American College of Prosthodontists and the Academy of Osseointegration. His experience and dedication have made him a leading authority in his field.
Expert in Periodontics and Dental Implants
Dr. Alexander Pritsky, a board-certified specialist in Periodontics and Dental Implantology, has been practicing since 2005. His expertise includes performing procedures under moderate IV sedation, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Dr. Pritsky is committed to coninuous learning, regularly updating his skills through continuing education and reviewing the latest scientific literature.
Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Pritsky is an avid distance runner, having completed several marathons and half-marathons.
He also supports his community by contributing to the local food bank.
With his extensive expertise and commitment to both personal health and community support, Dr. Pritsky is a key member of the Paul Binon DDS team.
Susan’s our go-to person for all things marketing here. With a BA and a Teaching Credential, she’s got the knack for getting the message across in just the right way. But beyond her office role, there’s a lot more to her. A lover of interior design, she’s got an eye for making spaces shine. She’s also the host with the most, always cooking up something delicious or planning the next get-together. Traveling’s another passion, but nothing beats spending quality time with her husband and family.
Kristin brings over 25 years of experience to her role as a Dental Assistant, specializing in cosmetic dentistry. She completed her training at the ROP Dental Program in 1999 and has a strong background in helping patients with severe anxiety.
Known for her calming demeanor, Kristin is adept at easing patient fears and clearly explaining treatments and expectations, making dental visits more comfortable and informative.
Kristin keeps her skills sharp by attending annual dental conventions and contributes to her community through her work at Job Corps, where she educates low-income students about dental care.
Kristin’s extensive experience, patient care excellence, and dedication to education make her a cornerstone of Dr. Binon and Associates.
Janet’s career in dentistry has been a journey of adaptability and learning. Starting as a dental assistant in general dentistry, a track & field injury led her to shift gears. She then gained valuable experience in periodontics, discovering a new dimension of dental care. Life took her to the Bay Area and back into general dentistry after getting married. Now, she’s part of our team, diving into the world of prosthodontics.
As our Scheduling Coordinator, Janet shines in her role. She loves getting to know each patient, helping them navigate insurance questions, scheduling appointments that fit their lives, or simply easing their concerns about dental care.
Away from the clinic, Janet’s life is full of energy and joy. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, whether it’s having a game night, hiking, paddleboarding, or camping. A big Utah Jazz fan, she never misses a game. She’s also passionate about CrossFit and trail running, and there’s Robie, her beloved Australian Shepherd, always ready for the next adventure.
Heidi, with her extensive experience spanning over 25 years in dental hygiene, is a key member of our team. She graduated from Sacramento City College in 1995 and is a certified Registered Dental Hygienist. Her expertise shines in all areas of dental hygiene, especially in periodontal laser therapy.
Heidi’s professional journey is marked by significant achievements. In 2011, she earned a full fellowship from the World Clinical Laser Institute. She’s also the Educational Director at Dental Team Advancement, where she specializes in diode laser training. Her dedication is reflected in her active membership in the California Dental Hygiene Association, Sacramento Valley Component, and the Northern California Laser Study Club.
Heidi is renowned for her skill in Laser Photobiomodulation, assisting in soft-tissue healing and regeneration. Her commitment to professional growth is evident in her pursuit of over 500 hours of post-graduate continuing education, focusing on periodontal and laser therapies.
But Heidi’s contributions extend beyond the clinic. She has a strong passion for giving back, especially to those who’ve served the country. Currently, she serves as the Dental Lead for California CareForce and the Director of Dental Operations for Placer Veterans Stand Down. Her service has been recognized by both the County of Placer and the California State Assembly with Certificates of Recognition.
Outside of her professional life, Heidi loves golfing and spending time with her family. Her commitment to dentistry is matched only by her dedication to her loved ones and her passion for the golf course.
Cheryl brings 27 years of hands-on experience in dentistry to Paul Binon & Associates, where she serves as a Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions 2 (RDAEF2). She holds an Associate Degree in Allied Health Management and is also a Certified Dental Assistant and licensed instructor.
Cheryl has a strong passion for the cosmetic and prosthodontic side of dentistry, especially the complex cases that require skill, precision, and attention to detail. She thrives in the collaborative, advanced environment of a prosthodontic practice, where she contributes to life-changing results for patients seeking restorative and aesthetic treatments.
Her approach is centered on clear communication and connection. Cheryl believes in truly listening to each patient’s goals and concerns, becoming fully engaged in their care journey to help deliver results that not only meet—but exceed—their expectations.
She actively maintains her licensure through continuing education and has embraced digital workflows to enhance the quality and efficiency of patient care. In addition to her clinical work, Cheryl gives back to the dental community as an instructor, training the next generation of dental assistants in California by teaching the required courses for licensure through the Dental Board of California.
Outside of the office, Cheryl enjoys traveling, cooking, working on home projects, and spending quality time with her family. Her dedication to her craft, her patients, and her students reflects the same care and commitment she brings to every aspect of her life.
